Drawing and Painting What You Like

This five day course will revolve around giving you the knowledge and skills to paint what you want to paint… landscape, still-life, portraits, whatever you can imagine. We will do this through demonstrations and examples as well as a lot of individual attention.  Each person will bring their own resource materials to paint from in oils, acrylic or watercolor. I have taught drawing and painting for many years and can probably help you to enhance your abilities as an artist.  A supply list will be sent upon registration.

I have been quilting for many years and have found great pleasure with appliqué quilting. One can create a picture from scraps of fabric. In this class for beginners you will learn the basics of preparing the fabric and the method of hand sewing the fabric appliqué. The pattern I have chosen is called “Midnight Sunshine” designed by Beth Ferrier for Bali Fabrics. It uses batik fabrics which makes this project very pleasing on the eyes. The finished size is 25″x29″. The appliqué can be completed in the 3 day class. We may have time to start quilting the layers together. I am looking forward to meeting you and teaching you this great craft.  Any questions please free to call the instructor at 802-446-2500. Instructor to send supply list needed for this class.      Lena Drzewiezewski
